Bathing Facilities
Although DENJIROU has a modern bathroom, for a large group of visitors,
the option of visiting onsen (public baths with hot springs) is an interesting and rewarding experience.
There are a couple of onsens nearby (we can provide transport).
The largest Japanese room and doma (entrance area) feature a noodle shop during lunch (11 am to 3 pm), so
these areas are shared with patrons of the noodle shop for this period.
Smoking is not permitted in DENJIROU except for a space around the fireplaces.
To maintain the thatched roof, we burn logs in the fireplace from time to time. This may make the house a bit smokey.
